DISTRIBUTION
At Distrivisa, the P&L that used to close on the 15th today it comes out in 5 business days.
A leader in distributing printing equipment and supplies, a customer since August 2019.
Vitor Pereira, managing partner
The starting point
Leading the market in printing equipment and supplies distribution came at a cost in process: operational controls grew more and more complex, and in finance the manual control of costs and planning stopped keeping up.
What was lost was not accuracy — it was time. Consolidating the financial information became slow, and with it the reliability of what came out. Fast, confident decisions came to depend on a figure that only arrived after the window to decide had closed, and improvement opportunities stopped appearing for want of anyone looking in time.
“With LeverPro we gained organized information and confidence in decision-making. The P&L, which used to close only on the 15th, is now ready in 5 business days — and the forecast went from one-off to routine.”

Why LeverPro
In 2019, set on digitising controllership and financial planning, Distrivisa looked at different platforms. What stood out about LeverPro was a customisable delivery that fitted the business's expansion — and the fact that it offered technology and customisation competitively, more affordably than the international solutions prominent at the time.
The partnership began in August 2019 and is one of LeverPro's earliest and longest-running.
The close stopped waiting for the 15th
It was the first gain noticed, and the easiest to measure: the P&L used to be finished by the 15th of each month and now comes out in five business days.
The difference is not in typing speed. It is that the information arrives organised and up to date, without the step of someone assembling and checking the package before it exists. Ten calendar days the board got back every month.
What showed up once the figures were in plain sight
Fast, accurate financial control was not just about closing earlier. It was about seeing things the delay had been hiding.
Adopting LeverPro's solution let us spot several opportunities in cost reduction and project prioritisation. We optimised our financial performance by putting the more profitable projects first while cutting unnecessary expenses and costs.
The same clarity changed the board meeting. Custom dashboards and financial metrics, updated in real time, replaced the package prepared for the occasion — and the conversation stopped starting with checking the figures.
LeverPro was essential in making board meetings more productive, with clear information and efficient control of our figures.
The forecast became routine
Forecasting was done one-off, and not by choice: doing it by hand cost too much to repeat often. With ERP integration and the ease of creating and comparing financial scenarios, the process got faster — and what was an occasional effort became a regular routine.
It is that regularity that prepares a company for what cannot be scheduled: market swings, a competitor arriving, a change in conditions. Projecting once a year says where you wanted to get to; projecting all the time says where you are.
